Why I am not Getting any sales?

I recently launched my leather jacket brand and am currently targeting only the USA audience in my Facebook sales campaign. Initially, I ran a Facebook engagement campaign with the goal of getting likes and followers on my Facebook page. The daily budget for the campaign was $8 for 4-5 days. This helped me get around 100 likes/followers on my Facebook page.

After that campaign, I started a Facebook sales campaign with 4 ad sets and 8 ad creatives in total setting a daily budget of approx $15 . Today marks the 5th day, and I haven’t received a single order. Moreover, my Facebook stats show only 2 add-to-cart actions. The number of sessions shown on Shopify is 129, with 5 add-to-cart sessions.

Sale Campaign Stats:

CTR: 2.1
Link Clicks: 55
Frequency: 1.68
Impression: 2621
Reach: 1560

Couple things that stand out to me:

  • There is no logo for the brand

  • No about page for the brand (this is key especially for new brands, to give the customer a sense of trust and connection on who they’re giving their money to)

  • No shipping information page

  • No footer with standard online shop links (about, contact, shipping, privacy policy, etc)

  • No product reviews. Challenging I know with a new site but just make sure you have a reviews app (I like Judge.me) and have automations setup to ask for reviews so you can start getting them

0 sales on 55 visitors is normal for a new site, unknown brand, no reviews. If you don’t have any sales after 200 visitors then I would consider it a problem. But the problem could be the website, the product, or the marketing, that’s the fun part testing those :slightly_smiling_face:

Good luck

Also, could you please tell me how I should determine whether my ads are reaching enough of the right audience?

I’m not sure, I haven’t done ecommerce marketing in a few years, I would consider trying to find someone that works professionally making ads on the specific marketing platform, and that has case studies and A/B tests to point to, can give data driven answers and solutions.

Alright, Thankyou for the help

Hello Mr. Joes,

I followed your advice and added an ‘About Us’ page. Could you please review it and let me know if it’s good to go?

Additionally, you mentioned the need for a shipping info page. However, my website already includes a shipping section under each product where everything is detailed. Do I still need to create a separate shipping page?

Nice, looks good!

For separate shipping page, I’m not sure. I would ask your customers, but I’d lean to yes. If you’ve ever shopped a site, scouted products and got pumped ready to purchase, then go to checkout and figure out that it’s international shipping with a high price, or they don’t ship to your area, oof that’s frustrating. Might be good to just start with a basic shipping page with some info (where it ships, average times, etc), then add to it later if people are asking, or if you see people browsing that page (Google Analytics will show you page specific engagement).

Thankyou so much :folded_hands:
