Hey there, @CataCB7 ! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with your conversion concerns! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!

First, congratulations on building a business and getting some ads out there! That’s a huge accomplishment! I took some time to explore that product page you linked! I was able to see the page with no issues and was also able to add the product to my cart with my issues. Once I got to your checkout, I noticed that there is only ONE country that is available to be shipped to: Romania. Is this intentional? My thought here is that your engaging customers on these ads may be engaging outside of Romania, and therefore unable to checkout because they don’t have an address in Romania that these goods can be shipped to.

Hi @CataCB7 ,

It sounds like you’re facing a common challenge with online advertising: getting clicks but not conversions. Here are a few suggestions based on the context provided:

  1. Evaluate Your Product Page: Ensure that your product page is optimized for conversions. This includes having high-quality images, clear product descriptions, and visible shipping and payment information. You can refer to this guide on creating great product pages for more tips.

  2. Audience Research: Double-check your target audience settings. Make sure you are reaching the right people who are most likely to be interested in your product. Audience research is crucial, and you can find a practical guide Online audience research: how to analyze your audience..

  3. A/B Testing: Consider running A/B tests on your ads or product pages to see what works best. This can help you understand which elements are effective and which need improvement. More about A/B testing can be found Multivariate testing: what it is and when to use it..

  4. Review Ad Content: Ensure that your ad content is compelling and clearly communicates the value of your product. Sometimes, tweaking the ad copy or visuals can make a significant difference.

  5. Consider Stopping or Adjusting Ads: If after making these adjustments you still don’t see sales, it might be worth pausing the ads to reassess your strategy or trying different ad creatives or targeting options.

Ultimately, it’s important to continuously test and optimize both your ads and your store to improve conversion rates. You can read more about in our Yoast article: Get more sales on Shopify with these 14 tips.
