Our payment processor, Authorize.net, shows Apple Pay as a payment option in Shopify. However, when I try to select it, it cannot process the request. I can select and deselect all of the other payment types but that one. Does anyone have a solution for this or know if this is a Shopify or Authorize glitch?
Hey, @UserAccount192 ! Welcome to Shopify Community!
If you’re unable to select Apple Pay as an accelerated payment method for Authorize.net, or any other gateway, there’s a possibility you don’t meet the requirements for using Apple Pay in your store. To see if this is the case, please feel free to go through the Apple Pay requirements below:
- You must be using one of the following credit card payment providers:
- Shopify Payments
- Stripe
- First Data Payeezy
- Authorize.net
- CyberSource
- Braintree
- You must have SSL activated on your store domain.
- Your store must follow Apple’s Acceptable Use Guidelines.
If you believe you meet the requirements but are unable to activate Apple Pay, we’ll need to access your account in order to investigate this issue. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback.
