My name is Erica and I’m new to the Shopify discussion board and thank you in advance for the assistance!
Since we started our store using the Boundless theme, we are seeing some codes that appears on top of the main image on the product page. I’m no expert at reading code and have been battling with this since we launched our store on Shopify. If anyone can point us to the right direction on how to get rid of this would greatly be appreciated! Again, thank you for the help in advance!
Go to Actions > Edit code > product-template.liquid file, find ‘revieewer-iframe-product-stars’ . You just need to move the code here, it will display fine:
Thanks for getting in touch. I understand how important is it to have everything in order on your store, so I am here to help you out with this issue.
As mentioned by @LitExtension it looks like there is an error in your code which is affecting your storefront. Are you aware of changes made to your code or of any new apps that were installed recent that made have impacted your theme?
By the way, I had a peek through your store here, and I have to say these are some beautiful pieces of jewelry! Furthermore, I also love the fact that you can request certain customizations for your jewelry, what an amazing option to offer your buyers. One thing to mention, have you considered adding blogs to your store? The reason being is as more content is added to your store, this will help your** SEO** as Search Engines will crawl your site more often. The blog posts are also shareable on social media. This means that not only your customers will see them, but when they start interacting with them, their friends will see it on their timeline. This opens you up to a whole new network. Check out thisShopify blog here which shows you how to write a blog that actually gets read, if anything it is a great read when you have time some free time! I’d also love to hear more about any marketing that you are doing right now, as always, we are here to help with any questions you might have. Have a lovely day!
First of all, thank you all so much for the assistance and the suggestions in trying to resolve this for us. However, I have tried to resolve the issue by following the step provided by @LitExtension, and still no luck. I even went ahead and replaced the current product.liquid code with a default boundless code but the extra characters still showing up. At first, I thought it would be the widget code from Revieewer but the same issue persist even though I had removed their code from this area. Today, as I was browsing our products on a mobile device, the following list of code appears, which makes our website look very unprofessional and wanted to see how we can get this resolved more expedited. Anyone can help or can take a look at our code to see how can we resolve this?
Thanks for getting back to us and letting us know you’re still experiencing this issue! I had another look at your store this morning via desktop and mobile and can see that the code is still appearing on your homepage.
