When did you implement the hreflang tags? For anything to update in GSC, Google needs to crawl the pages which can take time and varies for every site. In the meantime, checks with tools like what you mentioned is one way to confirm early validation. Check another sampling of pages as well.
Putting in one URL in a tool is not going to give you a complete answer as to whether your hreflang tags are setup right. A shortened version is checking the homepage, a collection, a product, a page for EVERY language version of the store. A more comprehensive method is conducting a full audit using a tool like Screaming Frog.
Hi Josh I have the same problem, Sem rush is saying we have 195 failed hreflang codes out of 1600 odd any idea how we fix these? Shopify say its not them but the language app say its completely them
