Why is high traffic not translating into sales on my online store?

Hello, I just launched my store about 3 weeks ago. I’ve been running lots of ads and I get lots of traffic. I’ve done targeting ads and still no sales. Any feedback will be so helpful! Here is my store link https://yourtreasure.store.

1. Reduce the size of the logo

Currently, your logo is way too big and it has a lot of white space, which makes your text become smaller and hard to read. A smaller logo ensures that it adapts well to various screen sizes and maintains visual consistency across devices.

My suggestion is you could remove the white space outside the square. Oversized logos can be visually overpowering and distracting for website visitors. A smaller logo is less intrusive, allowing users to focus on the main content and navigate the site without unnecessary visual interference.

2. Add more “Add-to-cart” buttons

The Add to Cart button is the most critical thing we recommend you include. Users will be able to fill up their shopping carts in one session and then complete the purchase transaction without entering the product page. Thus, it will undoubtedly increase your conversion.

3. Have secondary hover images

There are a few strategies you can use for your secondary hover images:

  • “Lifestyle” Thumbnails:
  • “Compatibility” Thumbnails
  • “Feature Callout” Thumbnails
  • “Product Variation” Thumbnails

Secondary hover images will help customers see different views of the products so that they can easily gain trust and make Buying decisions.

In your case, customers cannot accurately identify crucial product qualities such as fit and length - how big or fitted is this ring — without a human model for reference.

4. Use Both ‘Bullet Lists’ and ‘Blocks of Text’ for Product Descriptions

By providing bullet lists, simplified summaries of product and feature information, bullet lists are an ideal way of delivering product information to users quickly and easily.

But bullet lists, on the other hand, are often shallow and, as a result, frequently prompt users to inquire about product features and terminology. When users need more information about a product, they will almost always turn to text blocks.

5. Prepare for Back-to-school Sales Season:

You could apply some marketing strategies below for appealing offers that cater to both students and their parents this Back-to-school Sales Season:

  • Back-to-School Collection: Create a special back-to-school jewelry collection with trendy and affordable pieces that appeal to students. Consider designs like dainty necklaces, stackable rings, and simple bracelets that are popular among younger customers.
  • Student Discounts: Offer exclusive discounts or promotions for students. Partner with local schools or colleges to promote these discounts through student newsletters, social media, or on-campus events.
  • Parent Incentives: Attract parents by offering incentives like discounts or gift cards for their back-to-school purchases. Parents might be interested in more substantial pieces as gifts for their children, so highlight options that hold sentimental value, like personalized jewelry or birthstone pieces.

To be honest, I think your store design is not professional. There are issues you will need to address

The logo is too big

The spacing is not correct

But they are just small issues. I think the main issue is your target niche. I don’t think many people want to buy cheap jewelry. I can see you have rings/jewelry for only $7, which is a very cheap price.

  • Add images that depict real people’s lives are improving upon using your products.
  • Incorporate action-provoking words in your CTAs like Limited Time Offer, Last Chance, or Hurry, Don’t Miss Out!
  • You can maximize your limited ad budget by targeting high-value audiences. Facebook Audience Insights and Google Analytics will help you determine who is more likely to be interested in your products.
  • Knowing the ins and outs of the Facebook algorithm allows you to place ads on the most effective ad placements.
