Shopify states a there is a 0% transaction fee yet paypal took a dollar from my order??? Im going to remove paypal from my store.
Transaction fees arenât the same as âcredit card / payment processorâ rates.
Regardless of which payment gateway you use, the payment gateway will charge you a specific percentage of your order to process your payment. This is the âcredit card / payment processorâ rate. Transaction fees are charged directly by Shopify, if you donât have âShopify Paymentsâ enabled on your store. So they are 2 completely separate things.
Thereâs no such thing as a payment gateway that charges 0% on orders.
