Im promoting the listing via google ads. Im getting clicks on the install button, but no actual installations. Anyone might have an idea why this is happening?

Clicks via google ads do not always come from a relevant user. Did you check the keywords for which you have got most of the clicks?
Also if you have a goal set up available you will get to know how many users actually clicked on Add app button on the listing page. here is a blog on how to set that. Make sure to regularly check and optimize to get better results.
And I would also suggest running Shopify Ads, as they are more fruitful than google Ads.

@ReturnPrime thank you for the detailed answer. I tried to look into Shopify Ads but they are very expensive. I currently have the free credit for ads, is there a way to stop the ad once the credit is spent?
Unfortunately, you can’t stop running the ad as soon as the credit gets exhausted. But, you can set a daily spent limit so after x no of days when the limit is about to get exhausted you can manually track and stop the ads. Here is a detail on how ads are billed.
