I just created a shopify account and am ready to buy a subscription. I’ve been trying several minutes to purchase but it always says card not verified, but I know i’ve entered everything correctly

Can you please make sure your credit card or payment method meets the following requirements:

It is a debit card or a post paid credit card

It is co-branded with Visa, Mastercard, or Amex

Capable of accepting charges in your billing currency for your store

Capable of making online purchases

Capable of accepting recurring billing

Has appropriate funds available

Enter billing address and details the same as what their bank has on file

Cannot have any restrictions on how much the bank will allow to be processed at once

The best first step is to reach out to your credit card provider to see if there are any issues. It is up to a card provider to ensure that a payment card is working. Since they are a separate platform from Shopify, we are limited in how we can support its functionality.
