Hi,
Checkout isn’t available
Return to the home page or contact the store directly.
Checkout isn’t available on a Shopify store, with an attached screenshot showing the exact error message. The issue occurs at checkout, preventing purchases.
The leading hypothesis is that checkout is disabled during the free trial or when no paid plan is selected. Enabling a paid Shopify plan is required for checkout to function.
Requested details to diagnose include the store URL, confirmation of plan status (paid vs. trial), whether all customers see the error, and whether the store owner can reproduce it. These specifics will allow replication and targeted troubleshooting.
Another participant reiterated that an inactive plan could be the cause. Selecting an active paid plan is expected to resolve the issue.
Action items: verify the shop’s plan status and activate a paid plan if currently on trial; share the store URL; test checkout across devices and users. No resolution has been confirmed; the discussion is open pending the store owner’s follow-up.
Hi, @VICKNESHDM .
Welcome to the Shopify Community and thank you for posting your question here.
To gain a bit more insight, could you clarify if you’re on a Shopify paid plan or are you in the** free trial period**? If you’re in the free trial period, you’ll need to select a paid plan in order to activate your checkout.
Could you provide a bit more information on the screenshot you’ve shared:
Looking forward to your reply and learning more about the issue.
Hello @VICKNESHDM ,
There can be an issue with the Shopify plan. First, you need to check if your Shopify plan is active or not, if not then choose a plan it will surely resolve your issue.
