I’ve got quite a few checkouts but less than 20% end up as purchase.
Any idea why?

This can be cause by complicated Checkout process a situation whereby it’s difficult or confusing for customer to finish the purchase. High shipping costs. This can happen when if the checkout process is too long and has too many step. But there is a functionality that can be setup n your store to regulate this. Are you in discussing this with you?
