Why is my checkout unavailable after sharing a discount coupon?

Hello Guys, i recently made my first discount coupon and after sharing the cuopon link to my cusomers they received this error at the checkout,

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are having with the checkout on your store. There aren’t currently any outages reported with our internal systems here, so this may be specific to your store or the discount setup itself. Here’s a couple of tips I have when it comes to checkout errors:

  • Double check that your store is on an active plan, and not still on a free trial. The checkout is not available to customers until you have selected a plan.

  • I’d recommend you clear the browser cache/clear history, this may help if the browser is storing old information or malfunctioning a little. This can often help to resolve issues like this, so it is a good first step to take.

  • If possible, test this on a separate device, a different web browser, and even another internet connection which will help try to rule out any localised issues.
