Based on your description, it sounds like your credit card was rejected when you tried to add it as a payment method for the Shopify billing on your store - is that correct?
Are you able to try to add the payment method again? We have some information here on our help center that explains the requirements for adding a payment method for your store. I would recommend trying again, and ensuring that all the details are correct and that it adheres to the requirements outlined on the page above.
If you believe that your credit card should be working but it is not, then it would be a good idea to contact your bank to ensure that all is working as it should with your card. They may be able to offer some insight as to why the card isn’t working. You could also try adding a different card if you have access to one, and seeing if that works.
