Your credit card might be rejected due to it didn’t meet the following requirements below:

  • Use a valid credit card from Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

  • Use a valid debit card that is co‑branded with Mastercard, Visa, or American Express.

  • Allow recurring payments in USD.

  • Have international capabilities.

If you cannot find the cause after checking all the below requirements, the best bet is to reach out to Shopify support team for better assistance.

Are you trying to sign up for a Shopify Pricing Plan? If so, as @AvadaCommerce pointed out, you will need to make sure you are using an accepted payment method.

What credit card type are you using, please?
