Why is my Dawn theme banner still blurry despite high resolution?

I mean, theres an issue with the code, you can fix with another bit of code to make it better (in my view), or take it up with shopify directly if you feel they have wronged you in marketing.

FYI - This is a community forum, i’m (and assume others) are mearly just suggesting work arounds. Mine is based on my years of experience on the platform (and a bunch of other languages).

Anyways, good luck with the project, not really worth my time when was just trying to help. I don’t get paid to provide guidance…

:victory_hand:

I actually can’t fix it anymore than you can serve a customer in Japanese, that’s my point.

And yeah, I know its a forum and people are suggesting help, and yeah I know people aren’t getting paid. You seem offended annoyed or something.

But that makes sense that your is based on years of experience, that makes sense that you maybe forgot what it’s like for people who don’t have years of experience here which explains your “I mean yeah it is code… ?” comment. But it is weird that with al that experience you still think that having a site show blurry pictures is it “working how expected”

Thanks, good luck to you in your endeavors as well, and thanks for trying, sorry I don’t know coding as well as you, maybe I’ll have some time to learn in the future. :victory_hand:

Hey,

Im not offender at all, but as dev I cant really provide you with any other solutions apart from dev related ones.

I mean the link was code, to do it is code (maybe other themes can do), but yeah its kind of what it is.

I just cant be of assistance if you don’t want to adjust to code base, as that is probably the problem.

I understand the logic of Japanese/code, but I guess keep in mind you are working on a website, which is run on code. The same analogy would be I went to Japan and didn’t want to speak the Japanese, if that makes sense.

your other points are related to stuff that is outside of everyones control here (the way shopify markets themselves), we have no control of the marketing from shopify…

enjoy the forum.

Yes, I know I’m working on a website. On a drag and drop website that I pay for so that I don’t have to use code. So it’s not really the same thing at all. That’s like saying if I have a problem with Microsoft Word I should know how to write programs since I’m using a computer program. Or if I’m cooking I should know about how to work on stove repair since I’m using a stove.

And yeah, I never said that anyone could control them. I was just stating a problem that they have, and my problem wasn’t with marketing, I think you missed the point there, but no worries

Thanks anyways.
