Why is my domain redirecting to Office365 instead of my website?

Hello. My domain "*www.lalaruebelle.com” *is connected through Shopify but my business email address is connected through go daddy. After changing my DNS records to connect my go daddy email… I input the new records provided from go daddy. The new records changed the

CNAME RECORD

MX RECORD

TXT RECORD

SRV RECORD

But This shouldn’t have affected my domain web address. Everytime I type in my domain in different browsers, my website isn’t coming up. I’m getting directed to office 365 sos.go.daddy.com.

After reaching out to go daddy they’re saying it’s nothing they can do to help and that my website is fine. I’ve had multiple different customers try to access my site and my website is still being directed to office 365 after typing in my web address “www.lalaruebelle.com”.

Hi, @Lalaruebelle !

Julie here from Shopify Support.

Thanks for sharing your store link. I’m also unable to access your website here on my end.

The reason why you are having issues with your website is likely because the CNAME was edited. In order to be properly connected to your Shopify store, your CNAME and A Record needs to meet our exact requirements, which are outlined here. The CNAME Record needs to be shops.myshopify.com.

Generally, only your MX Records need to be edited when setting up email hosting. We actually have some information on how to set up email hosting that should help! There, you’ll see that we have direct integrations for email hosting with Zoho and G Suite, should you like to consider one of those options instead of GoDaddy. Otherwise, I suggest contacting GoDaddy again for assistance, as they will provide you with the correct records in order to set up email hosting.

Did you originally purchase your domain through GoDaddy? Also, are your DNS settings currently managed by Shopify or GoDaddy?

Thank you.
