- I got my domain shopwithleisure.com a couple of weeks ago and connected it to my shopify store. It was working just fine until this morning when i tried to open it but it wasny working and when i checked my domains in my shopify app it says “domain not connected” what do i do?
Examine Shopify’s Domain Settings: Enter your Shopify admin account information and select “Online Store” > “Domains.” Ensure that “shopwithleisure.com” is still set as the principal domain and that it is still listed there. Re-add or re-configure it if it’s not listed or configured correctly.

Upon searching your domain’s DNS records (shopwithleisure.com), it looks as though the A Record does not point to Shopify’s IP address.
Are you able to log into your third-party domain provider account to point the domain to Shopify? The DNS settings should look as follows:
- Point the A record to the Shopify IP address: 23.227.38.65
- Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
- Point the CNAME record with the name www to: shops.myshopify.com
