I removed my domain and re loaded it as it wasn’t working but it still says ssl pending it said this for weeks could someone please help me
Hey @Newgeneration ,
Welcome to the Shopify Community!
Pending SSLs should naturally transition to ‘provisioned’ once the domains are added and pointing properly. When you add your custom domain, a new SSL certificate is automatically created, this process can take up to 48 hours. If it has been over 2 days and you find that your SSL is still pending, we’ll need to access your account in order to manually provision your SSL certificate.
While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback.
Please visit https://bit.ly/3cJkx8V and log in to your account to create a support request.
In order to save some time, and help the Support Advisor you speak with to pick up from where you and I have left off, I am going to provide you with a summary of the issue as I understand it. You can share this summary at the beginning of your conversation with the agent to bring you both up to speed and help to get your answers as quickly as possible.
Issue Summary: Removed and re-added domain. SSL has been pending for days, manually provision certificate via internal.
I do hope this helps! Let me know how you get on and feel free to let me know if I can clarify anything further.
It’s now changed to not connected what do I do now?
If it says Not Connected, you’ll want to ensure your DNS settings are pointed to Shopify. If you’ve purchased your domain through a third party, then you need to edit the following DNS settings:
- Your A record should point to Shopify’s IP address, which is
23.227.38.65 - Your
wwwCNAME record should point toshops.myshopify.com
