I’m tryin to transfer my existing domain TO Shopify and keep getting this message:“Domain name has already been claimed by another shop” please help!

Since you are attempting to transfer a domain that you own and you are receiving the error message, “Domain name has already been claimed by another shop”, I would suggest reaching out directly to our support. Since I cannot authenticate you for the store in question to look into this further, it would be best to login to your store using our Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before discussing the situation with a Support Advisor.
Once you successfully login to your store, you will be directed to our Help Center - you can type in what you would like assistance with in the search bar and search for any related articles. You should then be able to locate the option to Get Support that is displaying under the search results.
