Did you transfer the domain to Shopify, where Shopify takes over the billing and control of the domain or did you point the domain to Shopify, where your original domain provider continues billing and control of the domain?
If you transferred the domain, has the domain transfer finalized? You would have received an email stating that the domain has successfully transferred which can take between 10-20 days.
If the domain was pointed to Shopify, then it’s likely that the domain has additional records that could be causing an issue with the redirect.
Could you share the domain name so I can take a look at what records appear publicly?
Thanks for the quick reply. I did transfer it from BlueHost and confirmed with them that the transfer was entirely complete and no weird redirections, etc… And its been at least 15 days since I did so.
But the post is moot now… well, for this moment anyways. It seems to be back up and running and the G Suite connection (which I did not mention) is working again too.
So whatever issue it was having, it seems to be over it for the time being.
