As pointed out by @PaulNewton , as this issue is in relation to a third-party Shopify would not be able to offer direct support. It’s likely that the expiry of the domain caused the problem and it’s possible that the error message you’re seeing related to this may resolve in time, as sometimes there can be a delay when it comes to domain verification. I would recommend contacting Facebook’s support team directly if possible and referring to their documentation on domain verification.
@Victor_5 apologies if i’ve confused you all. This is a shopify error, trying to accomplish a task within shopify. Has nothing to do with facebook or a 3rd party. I need to fix THIS so that I can then fix my pixel, but this is a shopify problem that must be fixed first.
So, the question still stands. I fixed my domain a couple weeks ago yet problem still exists, so time isn’t helping either.
"The .com domain could not be verified because it was already claimed by another Business Manager account."
That error message strongly indicates the error origiates from facebook as shopify does not have “Business manage accounts”
This is basic troubleshooting you need to investigate the originating side of the equation.
That does not rule out the possibility shopify is erroring and giving an incorrect message but you still need to believe the thing you are told and go LOOK.
