Why is my Facebook chat plugin not showing on my new Turbo theme?

Hi, I am having issues with my Facebook Chat plugin - before we moved to the new Turbo theme we had the chat icon/option showing on the website but it is no longer showing up. I tried removing and re-adding the code into the theme.liquid but it still isn’t working. Any ideas? Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @Yasmin4 ,

It is possible that all the app code has not been transferred to the new theme completely. Many apps add codes to other sections of a theme apart from the theme.liquid file.

Usually, Shopify apps have a re-publish button so you can re-publish the app after changing your theme to make it work with the new theme. Please check if the app has that option.

If you can’t find that option, I suggest you contact the app provider to help them resolve this.

Thanks for your help. We didn’t have the chat connected via an app - it was just the code in the back end in the theme.liquid but I will have a look at the app as this may solve the issue.
