When I try and connect my Facebook it says page restricted how do I fix this?
Hey @Sdantonio ,
If you are receiving a “page restricted” error when attempting to connect your Facebook page to your store, this could be due to a few different reasons. Here are some potential solutions you can try:
- Make sure you are an admin of the Facebook page you are trying to connect. If you are not the admin, ask the current admin to grant you admin access.
- Ensure that your Facebook page is published and not set to “unpublished”. You can check this by going to your Facebook page and looking under the “Page Visibility” section of your page settings.
- Confirm that your Facebook account is not currently flagged or restricted. This can happen if you have violated Facebook’s policies or community standards in the past. To check if your account is restricted, log in to Facebook and look for any notifications or messages indicating a restriction.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Facebook account to your Shopify store. Sometimes this can resolve the issue.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies or try using a different browser or device to connect your Facebook account.
