In the Shopify app on the individual customer order page, I used to be able to click on the customers email address so that I could email them. The email used to be sent from my professional email address. However, it now pops up to send from my personal yahoo email address. I really don’t understand why this has happened. Is this a domain issue? It works fine on a laptop. I really can’t figure out how to fix it. Thanks

It’s important to note that Shopify does not offer email hosting, so it’s possible that you’re currently using the email forwarding feature. If you own a custom domain purchased from Shopify, then the email forwarding for a Shopify-managed domain will only mask your email and customers would be able to see your actual email whenever you reply to their messages. However, if you’d like an actual business email, then we’d recommend taking a look at email hosting. While there are many email hosting providers, our recommendation is to use Zoho Mail or Google Workspace.
