Today I noticed that the “Total Sales” on the home page is incorrect. Shopify is capturing the orders but is not calculating the total sales properly.

Is there anything I need to do on my end or is this an issue Shopify is working on?

Hi, @trianglehardwar .

Thank you for reaching out and posting your question to the Shopify community.

Earlier today, Shopify received reports that sales reports and analytics in the admins were delayed up to an hour or more. The sales reports and analytics section has since recovered and you should now be able to see accurate analytics in this section.

If you’re still experiencing a significant delay with your sales reports and analytics, I recommend reaching out to our support team via the Shopify Help Center.

Hi, I am seeing the same issue today

Hi, @Manny1107 .

Welcome to the Shopify Community and thank you for joining the thread.

As of yesterday (Wednesday, January 4th), Shopify received reports of delays within the Sales and Order Analytics section. This resulted in Analytics and Reports not displaying accurate up to date sales or order data.

Our developers have actively worked to have the issue resolved and these sections should display up-to-date and accurate data as of today. I recommend clearing your cache and cookies and rebooting the browser before viewing your Shopify admin.

If you’re still seeing a delay in the orders, sales and analytics section, please create a support request via the Shopify Help Center so our team can investigate.

I hope this helps!

I also have such issue. I went to “Analytics” and can see the gross sales are about 2x higher than they were in fact. Then I went to a particular date (3rd February) and I definitely can see in my orders that I had ~EUR1500 in sales, however system tell me that I had ~EUR3350. ChatGPT did not give me a particular answer, so this question is still foggy for me. Hopefully support can help me. Thanks.
