Why is my impulse image comparison not displaying correctly?

Hi,

Has anyone had issues with the image comparison section within a product page, whereby it defaults to only showing the second image (no comparison between the first and second image)?

Was it always the case for you that this page showed just the second image, or is this an issue that recently came up for you?

First, it would be good to go back over any recent changes you made to the theme, such as adding new third party apps or custom code. Such changes affect the code directly, and may be reflected in section of the theme that you did not expect.

If you have not made any such changes, then they issue is likely just coming from the theme itself as opposed to any added code. In this case, I would recommend you get in touch with the developers of the Impulse theme here to investigate this further.

When you reach out, make sure to share all relevant context and any screenshots of the issue, as it would all help them look into this ASAP for you.

I can see that you’re a new member in our Community, so I wanted to welcome you! How are you getting on with Shopify so far?

Thanks for your reply. I’ve got in touch with the developer to see if they have a solution. This is the first time I’ve used Image Comparison.

So far so good, I’m learning as I go.

Thanks Lana. One thing which I think Shopify have overlooked in the UK is regarding shipping to non-mainland areas. For example, most couriers in the UK will have EU-comparitive rates for shipping to Scottish Highlands and other Islands (e.g. Isle of Wight). However, these aren’t set as regions within Shopfiy, meaning that I’ll get stung if anyone orders from these areas. Is this in the pipeline to be fixed?

This is happening to me too, @Lana_2 ! Image Comparison section is just showing one image; not both of the layered images.
