Here’s the problem, a regular one.
We brought a new item to Shopify with 15 items in inventory. We sold them all of them but Shopify still display we have 10 and 5 commited. Our sales shows all the orders made and fulfilled correctly but still display we have available, so now we oversell this item.
We carry +2600 items in our store.

were you able to find out why your inventory was out? Im having a similar problem Ive sold products and they still showing as listed in inventory?

Overselling occurs when your available inventory doesn’t match the actual stock levels. Verify that your inventory is correctly allocated across your different locations. Shopify optimizes inventory fulfilment based on shipping costs, so if you have multiple locations, it might take stock from the most cost-effective location.
Otherwise, are you using any inventory management tools?
