Why is my iOS app showing incorrect sales data?

There might be a bug in the iOS app, let’s say if I choose ‘month to date’ data today, 21st March, it shows me the sales data from Feb 29 to March 21st. Same for ‘Today’, it shows me data from yesterday to today.

I was thinking it would be to do with the app’s tracking of time, it might be considering the US time for my store in India. Can you please check and get back as I am not able to track the right data on the dashboard due to this.

  • Go to your Shopify admin > Settings > Store details.
  • Check the Time zone under “Standards and formats” and ensure it matches your store’s location (India).

2-Check App Time Zone Sync:

  • Ensure the iOS app is syncing with your store’s time zone.
  • Log out of the app and log back in to refresh settings.

3-Update the App:

  • Ensure the app is updated to the latest version, as bugs might have been fixed in recent updates.

4-Report to Shopify Support:

  • If the issue persists after verifying the above, report it to Shopify support. Provide them with details like specific examples of incorrect data to help identify and fix the bug.
