Hi
I created a manual discount to be applied to a specific collection. However, this discount is automatically applied on checkout. What could cause this and how can I solve it?

Thanks for posting!
This sounds like you have created an Automatic Discount. Automatic Discounts also require titles, which some merchants mistake to be the code itself. This could be an easy fix, simply head to Discounts in your Shopify Admin and double check the discount was set up as a code vs. automatic.
If this doesn’t solve the issue, it sounds like you may have a discount app installed that is adding the discount to the cart page. To resolve that, you would need to either disable the app, or reach out to the apps developer.
You can find a link to the app’s developer by heading to Apps > Support next to the app in question.
