Why my credit card is a MasterCard, but it keeps saying that the payment failed and the credit card information cannot be verified

To gather a bit more context here, are you seeing this error message within your Shopify admin upon trying to make a payment? If so, could you try double checking your credit card information or using an alternate payment method to see if it will process. Could you also advise if this the first time you’re seeing this error message when using this credit card?
Additionally, I would also check your bank / payment provider to ensure everything is setup correctly on their end. If after checking with your bank provider and trying an alternate payment method you’re still seeing the same error message I’d like to suggest reaching out to our Live Support team.
