Why is my menu not cascading in the supply theme?

Please forgive my total ignorance, I have had a search but maybe I don’t understand the terminology of what I am trying to do.

I am using the supply theme and in my menu I have drop down boxes and often other items off each of those. in mobile it looks how I want it, but on the computer it goes across with bold headings and items underneath. I want the bold headings down one side and you can then open up each one to see what is under it. Does that make sense?

Help!

I want the menu to cascade out like the supply theme did?

So although I have the supply theme there is nothing I can do to make it work like the supply theme?
