Why is my online boutique not making any sales?

Hi All,

I launched my website GajovaBoutique.com back in April and I’ve only gotten 3 sales (all from people I know). I’ve done Facebook, Instagram, even TikTok ads and so sales. I get very few traffic and absolutely no sales. What am I doing wrong? I know the speed is a little slow and I’m trying to work on it but is that the problem? I’m literally losing money at this point. Should I keep trying or just give up? If it’s about SEO I have no money to spend on that and no idea how to work on it either.

I can definitely understand feeling discouraged at this point, but it is at this point that you have to push through! Please do not give up on your dream yet. I would love to help you out with some marketing plans to help increase your conversion rate.

SEO can seem scary and yes it can cost a lot of money, but it doesn’t have to. I have some really great resources that allow you to build up your own SEO is a really good foundation to learn what SEO is and how it works on Shopify. This video walks through how to improve your Google ranking step by step.

SEO is just one part of the marketing plan - I have a guide here that will help you create a marketing plan that works. A piece of advice I’d also give you is to figure out EXACTLY who it is that you think your ideal target customer is; who are they? what age are they? Why would these products appeal to them & how are they currently going looking for these products? I’ve taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can make better conversions.

I would suggest adding video content to your website like you displaying brand-new items or demonstrating how a pair of earrings look when worn. Adding video content under your jewelry collections provides your potential customers with a closer look at them since they couldn’t try them on in person.

The second suggestion is to add the “Add to Cart” button under every product on the browser home page. Your customers can add items to their shopping baskets in a single session, finish the transaction without visiting the product page, and then check out. It will significantly increase your conversions to your website if doing so.
