Why is my online store showing a technical error when I try to choose a plan?

Hi.

I signed up for a trial a couple of weeks ago, to start important my Etsy, because they’re giving me hard times.

I haven’t had chance to come back to shopify since, until now, where I wanted to sign up for a plan and continue on.

When I try and access my store, it gives me the option to pick a plan, but when I click it, I just get a generic technical error.

I tried to contact shopify via chat and via email, but it won’t allow me, I assume because my store is inactive.

I’m hoping that I can get some help from someone on here. I don’t really want to have to make a new shop and reimport everything, unless there’s no other way.

I’m glad to hear that you’re interested in joining! To better understand what is happening, I’d like to know what generic technical error you’re receiving, please!

When it comes to chatting to our support, you can do so by going to our Help Center and clicking on Contact Support, where you will be prompted to either login or continue without a store. You will need to continue without a store because you cannot access it currently.

However, if you give me more context - perhaps a screenshot of the error - I might be able to better help you from here!

Hiya. Unfortunatly, when I went onto contant support, the only option available is to select a store, and not continue without one?

As for what error I am getting, well, on trying it now there seems to be none at all. It looks as though the issue has cleared. It was just a very generic "there is a technical issue"error.

I’m glad that is cleared up for you! For future reference, when you click Contact Support, you will come to this page:

If you cannot access your store, you will want to select the option to “continue without logging in”.
