Why is my online store suddenly inactive after changing payment method?

Hi,

I’m having a similar issue than @3theral . My store status changed into inactive after I entered a new payment method. I’ve submitted a request to Shopify 3 days ago, and in the meantime asked for some follow-up. But it seems they’re shutting me down or are reluctant to give me a proper answer. Now, my account is in the hands of the Safety team, but it’s already been 72 hrs. Any clues ?

It gives some background, but still does not help resolve the issue. Communicating with the Support team to find out what is going on with my account left me with no satisfying answers. It’s very surprising because it’s not the first time I’m contacting the Support team and so far, they’ve been courteous and helpful. So, I’m wondering why/where the change.
