Why is my online store unresponsive intermittently?

My Shopify store is unresponsive. This keeps happening randomly and gets fixed in some time, automatically (Without me doing anything). Every time I get in touch with Shopify support thru chat, they blame it on the 3rd party theme and put me in touch with the developer. Nothing happens, and the issue goes away on its own.

This has been happening on a random basis for the past 3-4 months and there is no solution till now.

Can someone share their views on this and if you’re facing similar issues?

Have you tried installing a fresh version of your theme? and does this error occur when using any other themes?

When a ‘page unresponsive’ error is generated, it is also often due to a connection error (timeout) caused by a browser or local issue. If you are only seeing this issue in Chrome, I suggest either installing a fresh version of Chrome or clearing Chrome’s cache of old data.
