Hello,
Until last week, if I was fulfilling orders I would click the “Open” link and only orders needing to be fulfilled would display. Even if I clicked into an order and then back out, only the Open orders would display. This was very useful and logical for me because I don’t fulfill orders sequentially or chronologically, so it was helpful that any fulfilled order would be hidden.
Last week something changed. Now, whenever I click into an order and back out, it reverts to showing “All” orders. I now have to click the “Open” link every single time I go into and back out of an order. This has created an extra step for me which is repeated many times a day.
Is there a way to lock the view to “Open” orders only, even if I go into and out of orders? I’ve tried looking through the options but don’t see a way to do this.
Thank you.
Hi @Chris_Hall3 ,
Are you referring to orders at admin Shopify? Refer https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/manage-orders#view-an-order
This is managed by Shopify and you cannot edit it. You can contact Shopify for a detailed explanation for it: https://help.shopify.com/en/questions#/contact
Hope it helps!
LitExtension - I’ve been managing several Shopify stores for many years, last week something changed. My question is why did Shopify change this and can it be changed back to the way it was. Shopify often makes changes to the admin causing inadvertent behaviors in other parts of the platform and then rolls them back in the next update. This change looks to be inadvertent because the way it worked last week was more logical and intuitive.
Hi @Chris_Hall3 ,
Yes. I, therefore, recommend contacting Shopify directly for a detailed explanation.
