Why is my payment and return total incorrect?

Hi. Yesterday I got money for three orders but in that amount I also had a refund.
The problem is it doesn´t sum up. When I add the three orders I have received and substract the refund, the number is incorrect. How can I see the payout seperatly?
Does anyone know?

Thank you so much for sharing your question with our network. Since you are receiving payouts via Shopify, it may be safe to assume you are using our in-house gateway Shopify Payments. If so, there’s a few different ways you can view how your payouts are broken down, and how to view the final balance of payments and refunds.

View All Payouts1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.
  1. In the Shopify Payments section, click the View payouts button.
  2. In the “View All Payouts” section you can review which order is attributed to which payment or refund and how it was calculated

OR

View Payments and Refunds1. From your Shopify admin, go to Analytics > Reports.
  1. Filter by Categories > Finances to display a list of financial reports.
  2. To access a summary and find more detailed financial reports, click the Summary report.
  3. Find the Payments finance report to display your store’s payment transactions for the selected timeframe.

I personally love the breakdown of the Payments finance report because it accounts for any other gateways you may have enabled, such as PayPal which can clear up confusion regarding payout amounts.
