Why is my payment authorization expiring?

Good day, please assist me with this new " Authorize payment" please. Why do I need to authorize payment? I did click on the button, but now the word “expiring” ís next to “authorizing”. Why ís that?

You mentioned that you are being asked to authorize a payment. This is typically caused by how you capture your payments. For instance, automatic payment capture is the default setting and saves you time when processing orders and is used by most merchants. However, you may capture payments manually. If that’s the case, then an order’s payment status is Authorized, and you’ll need to capture payment before you are paid for the order.

Also, you are seeing the expiring notice as all credit card payment providers have an authorization period to allow a charge to be made to a customer’s credit card. Feel free to check out our guide to learn more here.
