I am not able to enable the shopify payments, it just simply doesn’t show up on payments page. What could possibly be the reason for that? Many thanks in advance,

Ted here from Shopify, thanks for reaching out to us.
Where are you located? If you are based outside of the locations listed in this guide then it’s not possible to connect with Shopify Payments as of yet. Shopify Payments won’t appear as an available gateway to connect with, in your admin. We are working on making the gateway available worldwide but we’re just not quite there as of yet. If Shopify Payments is not available in your area then you should be able to connect to any of these gateways instead.
When did you create the store? Have you a business plan in mind?

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am located in Luxembourg and have launched the website two weeks ago, I’m really looking forward to have it available soon, meanwhile will check my options to understand which one suits the best. I am curating different designer brands under one retail store and am planning (hopefully) expand the business in the future.
I’m based in Sweden where Shopify Payments should work but it doesn’t appear in my checkout. Any ideas?

You mentioned the option for Shopify payments is not displaying at your checkout - have you activated Shopify Payments as a payment gateway with your store’s admin? Another thing to double-check is that your store does not violate any of the Shopify Payments Terms of Services for Sweden. Looking forward to your reply!
