Can someone help me?? If my store made $475.00 , why was my payout only $250.00 and where is the rest of my money?

There could be a few reasons why you’re seeing a lower than expected payout; however, the most common issue is that you have more than one payment provider enabled in Settings/Payment Providers. It is likely that you accepted orders through Shopify Payments, but also another payment provider such as Paypal (most common combo). You can find that out by opening one or more orders in the orders section of your admin, scrolling down to the “order timeline”, then viewing which payment provider appears for the payment line. If orders were accepted through a third-party payment provider, and not Shopify, then the funds would not be handled by us and would require reaching out to the payment provider to track down the funds.

My question is similar, but what I’m noticing is that my payout has been split between payout dates. For example, my payout day is Monday, yet my payments received on Saturday aren’t counted in Monday’s payout. I now have to wait an additional week for the funds to be sent to my checking account. I’ve scoured the help site and have not found an actual payout schedule with cutoff dates. This would be helpful to gauge. What is the actual cutoff day and time for weekly payouts?
From my knowledge of how banks typically operated, I suspect that your cut-off date/time would be the end of the business day on Thursday. Payouts typically need to be sent at least 1 business day to allow for processing time; which, if your weekly payout day is Monday, then the funds would need to be sent on Friday in order to ensure the amount will be paid out by Monday. Any orders placed after 5 pm on Thursday would typically be included in the following payout. That said, you’re welcome to change your payout schedule by going to Settings/Payment Providers/Manage. From here, you can go to the Payout schedule box in the Payout Details section, choose a payout schedule. It is also important to note that weekends are not considered business days, so any orders placed on the weekend would be scheduled for the next business day; which may cause a delay in seeing the funds.
