Why is my payout status pending? It’s been about 5 days and my payout dates are not showing up.
If your payout status is showing as “pending” and it has been more than the expected payout period, there could be a few reasons for this:
-
Verification process: Shopify may require additional verification or documentation to process your payouts. This can happen if you’re a new merchant or if there are security concerns. In such cases, Shopify may reach out to you via email with instructions on how to complete the verification process.
-
Payout schedule: Ensure that you’re aware of your specific payout schedule. Payouts typically take a few business days to process, depending on your payment provider and settings. Check your Shopify admin under “Settings” > “Payments” > “Payouts” to see the expected payout dates.
-
Payment provider delays: Sometimes, delays can occur due to the payment provider’s internal processes. If there are any issues or delays on their end, it can affect the timing of your payouts.
-
Account issues: Double-check if there are any issues with your bank account details or payment settings. Make sure you have provided accurate and up-to-date information to avoid any potential delays.
If you’ve confirmed that none of the above reasons apply to your situation, it’s best to reach out to Shopify support directly for further assistance. They will be able to investigate the specific details of your account and provide guidance on why your payout status is pending.
Remember, contacting Shopify support will allow you to address your concern with experts who can provide personalized assistance based on your specific account details.
They are about to put your payments on hold until further notice. Happened to my store. I didn’t have any issues. I have no solution, but it affects my life, family and children. Never use Shopify Capital. It is a Shopify PayDay Loan. If a company truly wanted to help they wouldn’t charge such a high interest rate and take money from every order.
