Help!
I have a Shopify store and got logged out of it for a month or so, when I logged back in it said “inactive store” so I paid almost $345 to reactivate it. And now that I paid, it’s saying I have to re list everything and didn’t log me into my original website. And I’ve tried connecting to my domain but it’s saying that it’s already a store (it’s my store)
I don’t understand. What do you mean when you say that you got logged out of it? Were you unable to log in, or did you decide not to do so?
I’m sorry I made that hard to understand, I had to get a new phone and redownload the app, and then I forgot what the password was so it took longer to log back in then I thought. Now I cannot log back into my original account
Couldn’t you just reset the password?
Hi, @Turquoisev1 .
Welcome to the Shopify Community!
I understand that you haven’t logged into your account in quite some time. You mentioned that it’s showing Inactive Account and since getting a new device, you’re not able to log in due to a forgotten password.
Usually, an Inactive Account message will display if you haven’t logged into your Shopify account for 3 months or more. When attempting to log in, you should receive a 10-digit verification code to your email address on file. The purpose of this code is to verify the account owner’s access, and adds an additional layer of store security. Could you double-check your email address to see if you received this verification code?
It sounds like you may have paid a subscription to activate a new store. As you shared, you had to relist all of your products. Your original stores content/information/products would not be removed if you haven’t logged in for several months. Could you also advise if you’re referring to connecting your domain to the new store you created?
Additionally, if you’ve also forgotten your password, @fadi_yousif has shared a helpful suggestion of resetting the password. Please check out our Help Center resource to follow the steps to reset your forgotten password.
