Why is my product page data missing after a new app installation?

Hello wizards. Suddenly, after installing a new app some data in product page are missing. For example shipping estimator, Price, pieces, different payment methods. Could you please help?

Thank you for sharing a screenshot for better visibility on the issue. Which app did you recently install to your store and is this affecting all of your product pages or just specific product pages? Also, what theme are you currently using?

There may be a few reasons why the data has been removed from your product page. When installing a new app to your store some apps will inject script within your theme code. You mentioned that when you first installed this app is when you noticed the data was missing from your product pages. To rule out whether it is an app script in your theme code, I’d like to advise rolling back your theme to an older version of your theme.

This can be done by heading to your Online Store > Themes section and selecting Actions > Edit Code from the drop-down menu. Within the Templates header select theme.liquid and click Older Versions to roll back your theme code which will display older dates of when your theme was last updated. I’ll share a helpful resource from our Help Center for more information on rolling back your theme code.

After rolling back your theme code if you’re still not able to see your product data I’d like to suggest previewing your store in a fresh Shopify theme. The reason I suggest this is to rule out any issues that may be populating in your current theme. You’re able to preview a fresh Shopify theme by navigating to your Online Store > Themes section, scrolling down to Theme Library and selecting Actions > Preview next to the theme of your choice.

Lastly, I’d like to suggest contacting the app developer directly as they will be in the best position possible to identify any app issues. If the app is listed within our Shopify App Store, you can request support by navigating to our App Store, find the app in question and select Get Support, enter your information and send a message to the app developer.

If the app is not listed within our Shopify App Store and you’ve installed it from a different website / developer website you can locate the app developer’s information there.
