Main issue: A Shopify product page and a homepage Featured Product display correctly in the Theme Editor (Customize) but fail in theme Preview—product page returns a 404 (not found), and the Featured Product shows the default example instead of the actual product.
Troubleshooting so far:
Evidence: Screenshots show correct rendering in Customize, but Preview shows the default featured block and a 404 on the product page.

The product page gives a “404 Page Not Found” message and the featured product on my home page is the standard example instead of my product.
I’m not sure if I got what you mean correctly, but, juding from what you said, there is a chance that the proper template is not applied in the products.
Go to one of your product’s page in the admin, and see if this option matches the name you see for the template in your customizer
Thanks for the reply! The only option I can choose is “Default Product”. Is there a way to add my product to that list?
If the template is already correct this is weird. Is the product a draft? Or is it active?
The product is active. I also tried removed and added the “Featured Product” section. It’s weird that it shows up fine on the customization stage but doesn’t on the preview stage. I also get a “404 page not found” on the product page during the Preview stage but not during the customization stage.
Can you send me a screenshot of your whole customization page? And a link or screenshot from your preview?
The first picture is in the Customization stage.
The picture below is the same exact place but in the preview stage.
The last picture is my product page in the preview stage. This works fine in the customization stage.
