Why is my Propel Replay app not showing translations?

Hello so I am using the Propel Replay app and some of the replays I view when the visitor is from another country are in English. I don’t know if they are viewing the site in English, the app is just not showing the translation, or my site isn’t translating for them. For example a replay from Poland is in English.

I was happy to do some research into this for you, however, I came up short with any insight online. Since the Propel Replay app simply appears to record the screen and not actually alter the events on your website, it’s safe to presume that the website is indeed appearing in English.

With that being said, I highly recommend connecting with the translation app’s developers directly for their expert advice and feedback into this behaviour. I trust they will be able to provide insight into the matter and whether this is expected behaviour plus how to actually test that the feature is working.

As you haven’t shared which translation app you are using, I wasn’t able to gather their contact information for you, though you can certainly use the general instructions for getting in touch with your app’s developer.

I currently don’t have a translation app and just use googles default translation which after reading this, works half of the time.

Can you clarify if you are referencing an extension? That way I can certainly help you look into the efficacy rate for translations.

I haven’t heard back from you, but I did want to ensure that you get a resolution for your needs. We can certainly explore some translation apps, including Shopify’s in-house developed Translate & Adapt app.

This is a free app and there is no extra charge to use it. It also boasts an impressive 4.3/5 star reviews so I wonder if this would be a better solution for your needs.
