Why is my purchased Shopify domain not appearing in my domain list?

Nearly a week ago, I purchased a shopify domain. It does not appear in my domain lists and when I search it, it says unavailable. The transaction went through on my card. How do I get the domain?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this.

As the first step towards troubleshooting, please try clearing your browser cache then add your domain back to your account by going to ‘Settings > Domains > Connect existing domain’.

Enter your purchased domain name and click Next to proceed with the connection. This should now reconnect the domain to your account, and you’ll then see it listed on your Domains page in your Shopify admin. Please note, your domain may initially have a notification next to it saying ‘Setup in progress’ or ‘SSL pending’. These should resolve within 48 hours of re-establishing the connection.
