Why is my Sale Price not Showing

https://homavista.com/collections/kitchen/products/quickdry-non-slip-draining-mat-for-dishes

Hi, @Homavista . I’m happy to look into this with you! I just have a few questions to make sure I’m giving you the best advice for your situation.

  • Can you walk me through the steps you’re taking to put your products on sale? Are you following these steps here?
  • Have you noticed this with all of your products on sale or is this only happening with this one product?

I checked the link you shared and the sale price is showing correctly for me. I’ve included a screenshot below to show what I see. Are you still not seeing the sale price on your end or has this been fixed? If you’re still having trouble on your end I’d recommend clearing your cache and cookies and then trying once more. You can also test this page using another browser or device to see if this is a local issue or if this is something more customers are experiencing.

Please let me know if you need more help with this!

Oh wow yes i can’t see it on my Hand and it happens to all of my Products

Why can’t i see it on my End?

Hello?

Hi, @Homavista . Thanks for your response! I have a few more questions to clarify what’s happening.

  • Did you have a chance to test your website using another browser or device? Were you also able to try clearing your cache and cookies? When you do this, are you still seeing the incorrect prices shown on your end?
  • Are you using Shopify Markets?

Since the prices are appearing correctly on my end, it looks like this may be a local issue. I recommend trying those troubleshooting steps to start. If you’re seeing the correct prices when trying those steps, clearing your cache and cookies should resolve the problem.

If it’s not resolved after that, please let me know! It may also be necessary to reach out to our live support team here so that we can look into this with you further. We can’t see your account information over the Shopify Community, but if you reach out to us through that page we can review your account with you in more detail.

Dear Erin,

I had this problem recently (2024.02.02), and clearing my cookies and cache resolved the problem. Many Thanks!

Now I wonder what happens if my customer base doesn’t clear their cookies?

Will they see the old price when I make changes?

Should I start sending emails to clear your cookies once a week?

Thanks for any advice,

Imagene

Hi, @Imagene . I’m glad that helped solve the problem!

While it’s definitely worth keeping this in mind as a troubleshooting step, I wouldn’t recommend sending out emails like this to customers unless you have a customer letting you know they are experiencing issues with your storefront.

From my experience, cache issues typically affect the store owners or staff members more often than customers. Your cache will remember assets from the websites you visit, such as images, so that it takes less time to load when you re-visit the page. Since you likely re-visit your online store more often than your customers do, especially while making changes to your shop, you are more likely to experience the errors or conflicts that can sometimes happen when the data needs to be cleared. It’s possible for your customers to experience this, but it shouldn’t happen often enough for you to have to send out regular emails like this.

Happy to help if you have more questions!
