Hey @Mindy2k can you share some direct examples of the issues you are seeing in your analytics and when you first noticed this happening? If you have any open ticket numbers regarding this issue please also feel free to share those.
Notice how Shopify Staff avoid the issue like the plague, but Shay is all over Mindy2k’s post below asking for evidence - yet I provided a clear undeniable screenshot in my post and its ignored! I don’t know if Shopify staff are measured by number of responses to posts - so cherry-pick the easy ones? You might as well be shouting to the sky as posting on here.

I have noticed this issue already for months.
The hardest part is shopify is sending incorrect data to Meta and Google, i dont know if my ads are doing well.
It a shame that they dont communicate about this.
Hey - have you found a solution? We are facing this issue for 2 weeks now end Shopify isn’t helpful at all. We changed cookie app it worked better for 1 day and now it’s back to 0 tracking.
I’d suggest using GA4 or an app like Cartlytics to have a more consistent experience for cart analytics
Surely its not too much to ask that the platform we are paying for displays accurate information about its own transactions? Suggesting additional 3rd party apps is not the solution! Fixing the analytics is what is required. A good start would be Shopify giving a bleep ofc.
And you know GA4 is an absolute disaster right? - including conversion tracking discrepancies, inaccurate traffic reports, integration problems with Google Ads and many more.
