I created a new bundle with the Shopify Bundles app, but inventory tracking seems to be turned off with no way to turn it on, either on the product page or in the bundles app. The app documentation doesn’t even mention the option to not track inventory, and previous bundles I’ve made did not have this issue.
Currently having the same issues, older bundles are fine. But the ones created today don’t track inventory.
We are having the same issues too, been happening for a few days now, the inventory doesn’t match the products in the bundle and the app doesn’t seem to register all inventory locations. Have been onto SHopify Plus support and very little help. Any fixes please let me know
Any resolve?
Our store is also having the same issue. We have our product listed on our website as only a bundle but it shows the customer it is out of stock. It is not out of stock but the Bundles link to the actual product seems to be broken.
Any resolution on this? I have two bundles doing the same thing, there is enough stock of the individual items.
I was able to delete the bundled product that was having an issue and then create the bundle again and it seemed to have fixed itself. It has been a few months now and is still working as intended.
I have the same problem. Some bundles are okay, but others are having issues. For some bundles, it shows the customer that they are out of stock when they are not.
I am trying to understand the inconsistency and why some bundles have this problem while others do not.
I have 4 locations, but only 1 has these bundles available. The products in the bundle are in the same location.
Currently, the solution is to open one of the products in the bundle, update the inventory policy to ‘Continue,’ save, and then change the inventory policy back to ‘Deny.’ This updates the stock of the bundle.
If anyone finds the error, please report it.
Just in case, this might help ↓
I also thought I was having issues with the bundles stock tracking :
I created a bundle with 2 products (1 simple and 1 with variants). At first I did not understand why when I lowered the simple product stock, bundle stock would not change, but when I lowered the stock of the variant product, bundle stock would update.
I then realized I did checked the box continue to sell when not in stock on the simple product while unchecked it on the variant product.
That’s why bundle would not always track stock ![]()
Some reasons why we’ve seen inventory not sync for a bundle (I’m the cofounder of Simple Bundles) and these should also apply to the Shopify Bundles app. Here’s a little checklist to hopefully get that bundle back on track.
- Is there a note appearing on your Product page that gives hints as to why the Track Quantity option is disabled? Some merchants see a message that indicates that they have “Incoming Inventory”, and it prevents them from turning the Track Inventory option on or off. In that case, you should accept that incoming inventory first and wait until Shopify syncronizes the information
- If you’re using 3P inventory apps, make sure that the information registered there is correctly synced with Shopify
- If you’re using a POD (Print-on-demand), you’ll need to uncheck the track quantity setting of the bundle parent inventory and allow it to continue selling when out of stock
- Make sure your bundle product/parent is stocked at the same location as its child items
At a high level, Shopify Bundles works similarly to Simple Bundles in the backend but there are a few key differences. We have a setting that allows you to automatically update bundle inventory directly on the app as well as a manual sync feature of our app by clicking on Resync all bundle quantities. This is required when you make manual changes to specific bundle info through Shopify. Lastly, if your store inventory manages multiple locations, there are different ways to handle inventory based on your workflow Managing bundle inventory for multiple locations.
That was a lot of info but let me know if I can help narrow down the issue.
