Why is my Shopify Payments account on hold and how can I resolve it?

My Shopify Payments account is on hold, and I was not able;e to contact Shopify support also. What should I do?

If your Shopify Payments account is on hold, an email from our Payments team should be sent to the account owner’s email address with more information on the hold and what your next steps are. I would recommend checking your inbox to see if you have received this email. If you have, please reply to this email if you have any questions and our Payments team will be able to assist you there.

If you do not see an email sent to the account owner’s email address, please contact our support team directly for further assistance. They will be able to authenticate you on the account and provide guidance on how to proceed.
